About

Hi, I’m Jennifer. I’m an artist and designer that combines words, color, images, and symbols to communicate with target audiences.

I’m originally from Southern California. After beginning my undergraduate visual arts education at UCLA, I transferred to California State University, Fullerton, where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Art.

I relocated to Alabama in 2007. Here in Huntsville, I became active in the arts and nonprofit communities. My work in graphic design merged with my skills in writing and technology, and evolved into diverse career in the visual and performing arts. In 2021, I earned my Master’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from the University of West Alabama.

Currently, I manage the City of Huntsville’s Public Art Program through my position with Arts Huntsville. I’m also pursing an MFA in Integrative Design with Alabama Center for the Arts through Athens State University.

In my personal life, I enjoy drawing, reading, meandering moonlight walks, hiking in the woods, spooky movies, video games, music, and conversation and shenanigans with kindred spirits.

I am also the proud mother of two. I have a daughter pursuing BFA in Graphic Design at UAB and a son pursuing a dual degree in Statistics and Quantitative Economics and Econometrics at the University of South Florida, that also plays double bass with the USF symphony.
